Stage 4 Solutions in Action
As 2007 comes to a close, we would like to
thank our clients, team members and partners who have helped us grow Stage 4 Solutions
and enabled us to begin new initiatives. We would also to also take this opportunity
to update you on activities at Stage 4 Solutions - as always, we welcome your feedback
and input.
New Website
With the growth of our team, client base and portfolio of
capabilities, we felt that it was time to re-launch our website. Please take a look at

We have added a new section titled Market Insight to showcase published articles and
events where we have been represented.
Business Marketing Association (BMA) Monthly Product Marketing Roundtables
Stage 4 Solutions was asked by the BMA to take a leadership role in hosting
monthly breakfast seminars focused on the needs of product marketing professionals in Silicon Valley.
To date, we have hosted three breakfast seminars. Attendance and feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.

New Team Members
We like to welcome two new members to the Stage 4 Solutions'
team - Jeff Scroggin & Ram Naranyanan.
Jeff Scroggin
Jeff Scroggin has eighteen years of experience in software sales and marketing working with industry
leaders such as Oracle, IBM, Hewlett-Packard, and EMC. He has held executive management positions at
Oracle and Aspect Communications as well as early-stage startup companies where he successfully marketed
and sold commercial software applications. Jeff brings a unique combination of experience and scalability
across the full sales and marketing lifecycle. He is an expert in developing and implementing an
integrated sales and marketing strategy to achieve top-line results.
Jeff earned his undergraduate degree in engineering at Stanford University where he was nominated a
member of Phi Beta Kappa. Jeff received an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
Ram Naranyanan
Ram has over 20 years of experience in a variety of product marketing, product management and revenue
management positions at several technology companies, including IBM, Nortel, Dataquest (now Gartner),
Sun Microsystems, Maxtor (now Seagate), Veritas, Symantec and GlobalSight, a prominent VC-funded startup.
Most recently, Ram was Senior Manager of Product Marketing for Symantec’s rapidly growing Storage and
vailability Consulting Services business. Prior to Symantec’s acquisition of Veritas, Ram was Senior
Product Marketing Manager for Veritas Storage Foundation, the industry’s leading storage management
software solution.
Ram has a BA with majors in Economics and History from University of California, Santa Cruz and an
MBA from San Jose State University.
